Now is the time to register for full-day summer camp offered by Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, in New Brunswick, Hillsborough, Hackettstown, and Phillipsburg for ages 3-13. Availability is on a first come, first serve basis for the camps, which begin in late June or early July. Surrounding communities are welcome to participate in any of the camps offered!
“Our camps provide an excellent mix of fun and learning with lots of outdoor exercise and opportunity for new experiences in a safe environment", said Marianne Majewski, Executive Director of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen. "Our dedicated staff is looking forward to another successful season for our campers."

The Big Top takes a look at the circus,
and So You Think You Have Talent provides performance opportunities for campers. Camps feature recreation, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), arts and crafts, swimming, field trips, special visitors, and presenters. Some of the trips scheduled for this summer include: Sky Zone, Camel Beach Waterpark, Great Wolf Lodge, Adventure Aquarium, Liberty Science Center, and Branchburg Sports Arena.
Last year, 1530 children were enrolled in Catholic Charities Child Care Programs, including 190 in preschool, 935 in school age child care and 405 in summer camp programs.
SOMERSET & MIDDLESEX COUNTIES
In New Brunswick, the camp is located at the Youth Enrichment Center 115 Commercial Avenue and begins on Tuesday July 5th. The program serves school age children ages 5-13 operating from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm until August 31
st. Full day preschool services are also offered at this location from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm.
The Triangle School on 156 South Triangle Road in Hillsborough is the site of the
Hillsborough Summer Camp. The camp operates from June 20th until August 12th from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm for ages 5-13.
WARREN COUNTY
In Phillipsburg, the camp is hosted at the Early Childhood Center at 459 Center Street and begins Tuesday July 5
th until August 26
th for ages 3-12. The hours are 7:30 am until 5:30 pm.
The Hackettstown camp is located at the Hackettstown Middle School 500 Washington Street this summer and begins June 27th. The program serves children ages 5-13 with operation hours from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm. The program will be held until August 19
th for those interested.
Financial assistance is available for those families who may qualify. Catholic Charities Summer Camps accept state subsidy through the county Child Care Resource & Referrals.
