Position Description
· Responsible for assisting in ensuring the delivery of a quality before and/or afterschool program that complies with all NJ Office of Licensing and Child Care Division requirements.
· Assist in supervising staff in a supportive and professionally developmental manner.
· Encourage personal growth and character development in children while strengthening their social, academic and physical skills.
· Maintain positive relationships through effective communication with children, parents, staff, supervisor and host school principal and staff.
· Attend staff meetings, supervision and professional development trainings.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree or CDA certification preferred and 1 year experience working with children a must. Supervisory experience is a plus.
Hours
Position is part-time, Monday to Friday. The hours range from 20-35 depending on the program location.
Salary
Competitive Salary $18-19 per hour
