Middlesex County Mobile Family Success Center to hold Health Fair Carnival on October 4th, 2017.

Sponsored by WellCare Health Plans, Inc., The Middlesex County Mobile Family Success Center will hold a Health Fair Carnival on October 4. 2017 from 6PM to 8PM at Parsons Elementary School in North Brunswick.  Free activities at the fair will include high blood pressure screenings, Zumba and Yoga demonstrations, carnival games, raffles, music, food and giveaways.

Three generations of Rivas (RIGHT) recently attended the Mobile Family Success Center (MFSC) of Middlesex County’s Candyland Prom, cosponsored by the Family Support Organization and held at the Edison Elks Lodge, in Edison, NJ. for families with children whom have disabilities or special needs. Attendees enjoyed a night filled with treats, music, dance, and most importantly a celebration of their accomplishments. Started in 2013, the Mobile Family Success Center seeks to strengthen individual and family functioning and empower people to acquire the knowledge, skills and resources they need to succeed and to provide an optimal environment for children’s development throughout Middlesex County.  
 
Family friendly programs workshops such as resume writing, family budgeting, or family fun activities are held in places such as schools, libraries, community centers, so they are accessible to everyone. Other services include information and referrals, as well as family success planning and case management.
 
The Mobile Family Success Center of Middlesex County is operated by Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, and administered by the Middlesex County Human Services Advisory Committee with funding from the Department of Children and Families.  Events are free and RSVPs are appreciated, but walk-ins are always welcome.
