• Responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality before and/or after school program that complies with all NJ Office of Licensing and Child Care Division requirements.
• Supervise all on-site staff in a supportive and professionally developmental manner.
• Maintain positive relationships through effective communication with children, parents, staff, supervisor and host school principal and staff.
• Plan daily developmentally appropriate, fun learning and engaging enrichment activities.
• Provide modeling, training and continuous feedback to staff on positive behavior management strategies and activity facilitation.
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are being adhered to on a daily basis.
• Order and maintain adequate program supplies and snacks to meet the needs of program.
• Attend staff meetings, supervision and professional development trainings.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2 years’ experience working with children a must.
• Supervisory experience is preferred but employer is willing to train. Must genuinely enjoy working with children, have a strong presence and good organizational skills.
• Must also possess strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Should be able to work on early dismissal days following the school calendar.

Hours

Position is part-time, Monday to Friday 1:45pm to 6:30pm plus weekly prep time.
