The Office of Parish Social Ministry connects Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen to each parish in the Diocese. This relationship helps us to meet the needs of people who come to us when they are experiencing a hardship of any kind. Parishes support our efforts particularly during major holidays by collecting food and gifts.
The Diocesan Emergency Assistance Program provides financial assistance to individuals and families referred by local parishes, while providing other Agency resources and referrals in the areas of mental health, physical health and basic needs. Assistance is provided through local community parishes, and is inclusive of all faiths.Location:
