THERAPEUTIC VISITATION & FAMILY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM

PLEASE NOTE: 

This service requires a referral from the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P).

PROGRAM SUMMARY:

Program provides regularly scheduled therapeutic supervised visitation for children placed in a resource home, kinship care or other out of home placement, with their non-custodial parents. Counselors educate, encourage and model appropriate parent-child interactions. Services are provided in-home, in community or in-office at times convenient to families. Program also provides parent education/support groups for non-custodial parents.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 

DCP&P referred clients only. Child(ren) must be in out-of-home placement. Reunification of child must be expected within 12 months of referral.
