Review, evaluate and process Middlesex County Emergency Rental Assistance program applications
Interact with and assist tenant and/or landlord applicants with their completion on an application
Review application and supporting documentation submitted through an online portal for completeness
Communicate via phone, email and regular mail to tenants, landlords and other pertinent parties which may include governmental agencies and employers
Calculate housing income for program eligibility; evaluate application package to determine eligibility and housing assistance amount to be provided
Submit requests to process payments according to established program procedure
Enter household demographic information and documentation into one or more reporting systems
Eligibility review on a quarterly basis for applicant receiving ongoing assistance
Maintain clear understanding of Federal regulations and local program requirements regarding benefits
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS required.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) encouraged to apply.
Requires flexibility, sensitivity to applicants and the ability to evaluate applications consistently in accordance with program objectives and policies.
Management of client flow and sensitivity to the amount of available funds are essential.
Willingness to attend extensive Trauma Focused Training.
Requires evenings hours and the ability to work independently.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
