Case Manager 040 – Edison, NJ
Responsibilities:

• Support individuals/families who are referred from social service agencies in Middlesex County experiencing homelessness and are in need of locating permanent housing.
• Work with social service agencies, landlords and government entities to establish relationships to increase available housing stock to decrease homelessness.
• Provide guidance/assistance to landlord unfamiliar with Public Housing Authorities and social service agency forms and processes.
• Be familiar with HUD’s NSPIRE and ensure that units being referred o client with a voucher or subsidy are in compliance and will meet those program’s property standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or licensed in real estate.
• 2 years exp in property management/housing.
• Housing First exp; conflict resolution.
• Self-run, work independently/set boundaries.
• Strong interpersonal skills/organized/detail.
• Collaborate with community organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including in virtual settings.
• Excellent time management/analytical skills.
• Bi-lingual a plus; flex for some weekends/nights.
• Acceptable driver’s license history.
