In every state, for every 100 “extremely low-income” households, there are less than 36 units of available and affordable rental housing (National Low-Income Housing Coalition, 2017). Catholic Charities offers shelter, transitional, and permanent housing for people who are working, yet struggle to make ends meet, or who have special needs.
“We are thankful to Amazon and all of our donors for their generous support of our Ozanam Family Shelter in Edison”, said Rebecca Rhoads, Service Area Director of Housing and Social Concerns, adding, “Last year, Ozanam provided shelter to 335 people from 161 families and served more than 90,000 meals.” Explore our site for more information about the work of Catholic Charities in Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex and Warren Counties!
