July 7, 2023With the recent retirement of the former Executive Director, Diane Genco, an award was established in her honor to a recipient who has contributed to the afterschool field and out of school time. Krista Glynn, Child Care Service Area Director at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen and NJSACC Board President received this honorable award. Krista has spent her time on the board in several capacities since 2000 and has been Board President since May 2015. She recently assisted in the search and transition process for the new Chief Executive Officer along with other board members. Krista Glynn oversees 14 child care programs for Catholic Charities including before and after school, preschool, and summer programs. “I am honored to be a part of this great organization who supports out of school time and quality afterschool programming throughout the state for so many years. NJSACC provides technical assistance and resources to ensure all children have access to quality child care in the out of school hours.”
