Stabilize emotional and behavioral crises
Prevent crisis development and/or support in transitions of life/placement for children 3-21 in the home, at school or in the community
Populations served include children and youth and behavioral/emotional crisis, I/DD, substance use disorder and/or DCP&P placed children and youth
Monitor and support 72 hours or up to 8 weeks with linkage to mental/behavioral health services
Minimum Requirements:
BA in social sciences or social work required.
Two year’s solid, consistent youth and crisis type work experience.
Four days a week/10 hour shifts.
Rotation schedule every 10 weeks as the on-call “secondary” responder for week nights/weekend, including worker’s normal work week hours during the day.
Fine computer and writing skills and excellent time management.
Willingness to be flexible with schedule and excellent team player skills.
Commitment to mission consistent with Catholic Charities, DOM’s and Crisis Response Programs’ values in assisting youth and families in need.
Driver’s license for varied travel.
