Catholic Charities Service Area Director LuAnn Dias recognized in Social Work Recognition Contest

March is National Social Work Month and this year’s theme is Social Workers are Essential.  LuAnn Dias, Service Area Director of Catholic Charities Diocese of Metuchen was recently honored in the Department of Human Services Somerset County Social Work Recognition Contest.   

The Department asked the community to nominate social workers who continuously impact our communities through their work.  LuAnn’s coworker had this to say, "I wish to recognize LuAnn Dias, Service Area Director at Catholic Charities, for the energy, passion and looking ahead to find ways to address the needs of the people living with the greatest needs in Somerset County. LuAnn is always engaged, interested in learning and collaborating with other agencies and partners to best serve the needs of our community. LuAnn’s focus, drive and passion makes her essential!"

We join the department in congratulating the nominees and wish to thank Ms. Dias and all social workers for the essential services they provide.
