Salary: $18 - $20 per hour - commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
Performing basic clerical functions such as data entry, HR file maintenance, bookkeeping and office equipment operation
Scheduling Interview requests via Outlook
Conducting employment and education verifications and escalating any discrepancies and/or non-confirmations to the HR Generalist in a timely manner
Coordinating criminal history background checks
Processing E-verify and administering the Agency Overview - New Hire Orientation, including material preparation, ID Badge creation and EE personnel file creation
Processing monthly Driver’s License status review and tracking
Ordering departmental office supplies
Supporting the Human Resources Generalist on a variety of detail oriented updates and run queries in systems
Provides support to Department Manager, Human Resources and Benefits Manager, as required for special projects
Skills
Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel)
Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communications skills
