Act as a business partner to managers by providing coaching, counseling and support on human resources matters
Provide support to line management in the areas of employee relations, employment law, performance management, policies, procedures, and unemployment compensation
Conduct agency recruitment and job placement activities
Utilize HIRS system to include maintenance of job codes and benefit-time accrual codes
Produce and distribute HR reports on various topics, including the federal EEO-1 and NJ AA302 reports
Assist with internal investigations
Conduct new employee orientation and training sessions
Oversee HR support staff
Minimum Requirements:
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Experience in employee relations and conducting internal investigations.
Strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
Ability to be flexible and meet deadlines.
Broad knowledge and experience across the full spectrum of HR disciplines.
HRMS knowledge.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Three+ years relevant human resources experience.
Driver’s license in good standing for occasional travel to other office locations in central NJ.
