Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year plus Sign on Bonus - $2,500

Immigration Services Program Director to supervise DOJ-accredited staff, administrative support staff and volunteers, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Must be capable of overseeing all administrative and programmatic activities, while carrying a reduced caseload of immigration cases.
• Will ensure all department staff training requirements are maintained and will also communicate all changes affecting Immigration law and the people we serve.
• Conduct “Know Your Rights” information sessions, stay apprised of immigration laws, and all policies and requirements to retain recognition and staff accreditations.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance to all reporting requirements.
• Work closely with Service Area Director to operationalize the program to be consistent with best practices articulated by CLINIC and AILA.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Law Degree preferred, otherwise a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Immigration legal services and previous DOJ Board of Immigration Appeals accreditation status required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• If candidate does not hold a law degree, incumbent must earn within the first year and maintain accreditation as an Accredited Representative by the U.S. DOJ Board of Immigration Appeals.
