September 8, 2023Young Adults and LifeSet staff spent the day together going on rides and shopping for souvenirs, and also enjoyed lunch together. A few sibling groups attended, and many of our Young Adults have formed close friendships by attending our monthly outings. The Young Adults had such a great time, they didn’t want to go home at the end of the day! We are looking forward to the opportunity to get together again at another upcoming event.
LifeSet is an evidenced based model that provides life skills instruction and case management to Young Adults ages 17-21 who are aging out of the NJ foster care system. The Catholic Charities LifeSet program serves Essex, Middlesex, Mercer, Somerset, and Union counties.
