During the holiday season the Middlesex County Probation Division raised the sum of $700 with the aim to support one of our local community organizations. Asst. Chief Patrick Keller said, “During the Holiday Season, it was important for Probation to give back to our community and with the generosity of our staff we were able to make this contribution to the Ozanam Family Shelter.”
Why did they choose Ozanam Family Shelter? Many of the clients of the Middlesex County Probation Division utilize the services at the Ozanam Family shelter. Vicinage Chief Tiffany Leverett said, “We are so proud of our Probation Division staff! The Ozanam Family Shelter is one of the organizations that we work closely with. The generous donations of our staff surpassed our expectations, and we know that it will further influence the reach that the Catholic Charities has in our community.”
Middlesex County Probation Division has many clients and is made up of three units, the child support unit, adult supervision that operates out of New Brunswick and adult supervision and juvenile supervision operates out of Perth Amboy. Staff members were more than happy to donate to Catholic Charities.
Ozanam Family Shelter is located at 89 Truman Drive in Edison, New Jersey. Middlesex County residents who are in need of temporary or emergency housing should call 211, the State’s Homeless Hotline.
