Answer phones and handle a switchboard while dealing with a diverse clientele seeking social services
Assist with the management of the front desk, communicate with walk-in clients in English and Spanish for social services and contact appropriate staff persons
Utilize MyEvolv to process client payments
Conduct building opening and closing/lock-up procedures
Ensure compliance with front office procedures, security and policies
Conduct site safety monthly and quarterly checks
Minimum Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years office administrative experience required.
Must be bilingual (English / Spanish) and fluent as well as exhibit a professional and pleasant demeanor.
Must be reliable and punctual and available to work flexible schedule.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision and exhibit good judgment.
Adaptability with the ability to learn quickly and apply understanding of agency policies and procedures to situations necessitating discretion or escalation.
Trustworthy and accurate with the ability to process cash, check and credit card payments precisely.
Must have general knowledge of office equipment and supply ordering.
Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook) and able to learn Agency specific computer applications, policies and procedures.
