• Annual Salary = $34,000
• Plus, an additional $1,500 for bi-lingual candidates

Catholic Charities Warren Basic Material Needs Program is seeking an Office Assistant who demonstrates the Mission and Values of the agency in the daily function of the position. The Office Assistant treats those we serve with dignity, respect and listens to their concerns in a non-judgmental manner.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming visitors and those in need, answering the telephone, scheduling appointments and responding to inquiries regarding available resources.
• Working with others to achieve a common goal – team player, must be dependable, have the ability to multi-task and exhibit good writing and communication skills are necessary tasks.
• Performing clerical duties such as data entry, filing and bookkeeping.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and site-specific software.
• One to 6 months experience in an office setting is helpful.
• Previous involvement with a faith-based ministry is beneficial to the job position.
