Draw upon lived experience to carry message of hope and recovery to individuals who are experiencing substance abuse disorder
Offer encouragement, support, service linkages and advocacy
Cultivate and secure connection with the parent/caregiver to achieve recovery goals and model personal responsibility
Provide direct services to individuals including outreach and engagement, personal assistance in the completion of daily living skills, linkage to community supports transportation and in-home services and advocacy
Minimum Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
Applicants must have at least 2 continuous years of sustained recovery or 2 years practicing the principles of recovery as a family member affected by substance abuse.
Good written and verbal communication skills, computer and technology skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age, pass pre-employment drug test, background and CARI checks.
Participate in random drug testing as required by agency policy.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
