Director of Reunification - New Brunswick and Cranford, NJ

Description

• $80,000 annual salary

Oversees daily operations of the Supportive Visitation Services Program.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Supportive Visitation Services Program.
• Participate in launching an evidence-based program designed to reunify children with their biological parents who are involved in the child welfare system.
• Program Director will be responsible for clinical oversight of visitation staff and all daily operations.
• Advocating for and collaborating with biological parents, resource parents and child welfare agencies is a requirement.
• Candidate should be able to initiate and maintain communication with families and professionals.
• Active listening, teaming, coaching, engaging and assessing are all attributes of this candidate.
• Must operate from a trauma -informed perspective.

Requirements:

• Valid LPC or LCSW with a minimum of 5 years work experience providing mental health service and at least 2 years providing mental health or therapeutic services to children and families.
• Acceptable driver’s license history.
