Therapist Connie Citro honored with Play Therapy Room Dedication

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen honors Therapist Connie Citro with Play Therapy Room Dedication

Connie Citro in the Play Therapy room dedicated in her honor. “This Play Therapy Room is Dedicated to Connie Citro, LMFT a Tireless Advocate for Children in their Journey Toward a Safe and Happy Childhood” is engraved on the plaque that now adorns the walls of the door to the  Play Therapy Room at the Catholic Charities Phillipsburg Family Service Office in Warren County.  Service Area Director, Martha Rezeli  honored Ms. Citro for her more than 30 years of service and presented her with a memory journal filled with quotes from people whose lives she has impacted over the years.   “I liked when we fixed my problems,” said one child quoted in the journal.  Citro’s work touched thousands of people, through outpatient counseling for children at risk of psychiatric hospitalization, family, marital, individual, and play therapies.  For more information about counseling in Warren County, please call  the Phillipsburg Family Service Office @908-454-2074.
