SPRING CLEANING - Amid 25 bags of clothing, Tamara Hemingway of South Bound Brook celebrates the success of a clothing drive for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, organized by Boston University Alumni in New Jersey. The Diocese has more than 40 donation drop-off locations throughout Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties.

Thirteen year old Sara’s early family experiences included the death of her brother, her sister’s diagnosis with bipolar disorder, and domestic violence, resulting in a grief stricken family whose chaotic home life was unstable and without income to sustain it.

The Child Assault Prevention (CAP) program in Warren County, which teaches children to be strong and less vulnerable to abuse, neglect and bullying, will be honored for 30 years of service at the International CAP Conference on April 14 in Atlantic City.
