The Community Team NJ, a non-profit organization based in Helmetta, NJ, stopped by Ozanam Family Shelter yesterday.

The Hackettstown Summer Camp kids took a field trip to Wild West City! The kids made their cowboy hats and had a great time!

Unity Square Community Center of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen was happy to welcome Kathy and Julie from OceanFirst Foundation along with Tania the Branch Manager from the New Brunswick branch for Ocean First.

CCDOM’s Immigration Services Program was awarded a $10,000 Cosponsorship by the NJ State Bar Foundation to provide free immigration legal services to clients below the federal poverty level.

After years in the making, the revitalization project at 45 Remsen Avenue has gotten the green light to proceed following the New Brunswick zoning board meeting on July 22nd.

A Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen's Child Care parent that works for NORWESCAP brought The Mirror Project to Phillipsburg Primary After School Program for a series of workshops. During each workshop, the kids learned how important it is to speak kindly to themselves and about themselves.

Some of Catholic Charities PACT clients and staff participated in the Day of Hope Walk facilitated by Jon Bon Jovi’s Soul Kitchen in May.

Maria Hunter of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, is the Director of this ministry and is so grateful for all who are involved. There were twenty-five parishes represented with 75 people total in attendance. This year’s event was the best one yet!

At Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, our amazing volunteers contribute their time and talent to assist us in our mission, many on a “regular schedule” to support programs that benefit by their help, while others come for special events or on an “as needed” basis.

Boxes of new and gently used toys were donated to CCDOM Child Care by St Patrick Catholic Church in Belvidere. Special thanks to Kylie, CCDOM Child Care staff, for facilitating the donation!

The parents from the YES Early Learning Center at St. Ladislaus, were able to participate in an information workshop, “READY, SET, LET’S GO: UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF KINDERGARTEN READINESS, TRANSITION TIPS & STRATEGIES," a super fun and interactive learning experience where activities were created by the parents.
