We are seeking a LAC or LSW for a part time employment opportunity to work with young adults ages 5 to 21 years of age. The Clinician will document and deliver evidenced-based individualized treatment to youth and their families in a community-based outpatient setting. Knowledge of play therapy and trauma-focused therapy a plus. Knowledge of psychiatric disorders of childhood from DSM 5 and (2) years mental health work experience is preferred.

Conduct substance abuse assessments, make appropriate impressions regarding client’s needs for substance abuse treatment, make recommendations to appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria and Level of Care Index, case management, obtain urine specimens for testing, data input into agency database
Provide psychoeducation, parenting skills, case management and service coordination to Child Protection & Permanency (CP&P) referred families in Somerset County.
Provide in-home counseling to CP&P referred families and youth in Middlesex County. Conduct Biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, case documentation, advocacy and case management, as needed.
