The Independent Living Program provides supportive housing and oversight to young adults ages 18-20 in Phillipsburg, NJ. Residents are residing in their own apartments while staff is on site for case management needs, life skills, transportation and other on-going support.
Provide services to address the needs of young people ages 17-21 who are transitioning out of resource home/foster care, or are already living independently, and need individualized skill development and support to transition successfully into adulthood. Skill development may include assist with obtaining safe and suitable housing, continuing their education, learning independent living skills, obtaining and maintaining employment, building a support system, and remaining free from legal involvement.
Multi-disciplinary team to provide services to young adults in a transitional living program. Case management, psycho-social assessments, development and implementation of intervention strategies.
The Visitation Aide will work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing supportive visitation services to DCPP involved families who are working toward a successful reunification.
Work alongside a team facilitating therapeutic parent-child visitation for families involved with the child welfare system. Visitation will occur in the least restrictive setting determined for each family’s unique needs, in order to facilitate a successful family reunification.

Establish healthy positive relationships with parents and children, conducting 3 personal visits per year, maintaining contact with parents to ensure student’s attendance is regular, maintaining student files and ensuring all information is current and up to date.
