Case Managers meet clients in their homes and provide financial counseling, as well as assistance with rent, mortgage and utilities.PROGRAM SUMMARY:
Financial assessment, outreach, advocacy, intercession with creditors, and budget counseling. The Affordable Housing Component of this program offers extensive case management and rental subsidies; it requires a referral from the Somerset Board of Social Services. There are no fees for this service.
Eligibility Criteria:
Somerset County residents and those who work in Somerset County who document a need for financial stabilization. Information regarding client needs, income, residence and family composition are recorded.
